Procedure Manuals are essential documents at Airlines and MRO´s which provides details and guidance for all employees and process owner within the company. Nevertheless, civil aviation authorities pay special attention and may audit procedures for compliance reason which often results into findings
MOE
Maintenance organisation exposition means the document or documents that contain the material specifying the scope of work deemed to constitute approval and showing how the organisation intends to comply with this Annex (Part-145). The organisation shall provide the competent authority with a maintenance organisation exposition, containing the following information:
GMM
General Maintenance Manual
means the document created outlining the policies and procedures for maintaining the Aircraft, which shall be consistent with all applicable Certificate and Operations Specifications, and the operating requirements of all countries where aircraft are operated
CAME
The Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition defines the organization and procedures of an airline or MRO and to what extend will be committed to Subpart G Part M. These procedures are approved by the accountable manager of the respective organization and must be complied with , as applicable, in order to ensure that all the continuing airworthiness activities including maintenance for aircraft managed by the organization is carried out on time and to an approved standard
TPM
An TPM can contain how the department work step by step, contact information and other procedures that changes often. The TPM is not a mandatory manual and can therefore be updated and modified without agreement from the authority. The airline or MRO can then refer from CAME to TPM in some cases that contains often changed information. This kind of manual can also be used towards other companies that work close together with the airline, like a maintenance organization.
JPM
The Joint procedures Manual (JPM) describes the cooperation between the customer and the supplier and shall enable the parties to comply with their obligations arising out of the Maintenance Contract, concluded under the Customers CAME as this JPM is part of the Customers CAME and subject to approval by Customers CAMO, thus any of these including subcontractors internal sub-processes are monitored by Customers Compliance Management. The JPM shall enable the parties to fulfil the applicable aviation requirements.
